    1. Looking at the comments by some sarcastic people on the capture of KP, they would even find fault with the government for not capturing him. This our Lankan politics and looking at things through various colored glasses. You are looking through blue, green or red! However if you look through clear glass you will see the real picture.

    2. That was what Gen Sarath Fonseka said. ‘We arrest him soon’. General planned everything very well . That was how we(HE) defeated LTTE.

    3. Well Done Sir,we Sri Lankan born American citizens are proud of your leadership in decimating these wild creatures.

High Commissioner Daya Perera in Canada

Mr Perera said that there has been no overt reaction to the arrest of Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP. According to the High Commissioner KP appears to be, in fact, unpopular amongst the Tamil speaking diaspora as he had admitted that LTTE leader Vellupillai Prabhakaran had died thus reducing the revenue of the organizers of the demonstrations in Canada.

Mr. Perera noted that up to now not a word of condemnation was said by the Diaspora about the human shield that was used by Prabhakaran in the latter stages of the conflict but are continuing to protest the treatment of the IDPs, principally, because they need to have some basis for protests to continue collecting the money.

Norwegian coming forward as the new LTTE leader?

    SL peoples thinking Comments

    1. There is definitely something more than the Tamil welfare behind these moves. EU and US are instrumental to all these developments. We have to study the bigger picture.

    2. After all those things happened, still they are dreaming about LTTE??? I think these people are having a problem in their EELAM brain.

    3. No Way : this should be nipped in the bud. It is well known how Norway supported the Tiger movement. Maybe this new man is trying to establish the trans-national government in Norway.

    4. SriLanka should introduce a visa requirement for all western countries who are harboring the pro LTTE Tamils. This will prevent the undesirable elements entering the country and cause trouble. Most of the Western Countries would not allow SriLankans to visit, by making the visas so hard to obtain. Even permanent residents living overseas but retain their Srilankan passports are not allowed to visit European countries. So why should we allow them to visit freely.

    5. Now LTTE is becoming more like a comedy movie !

6.It is much easier to kill or abduct a person in Norway (compared to Malaysia) irrespective of whether the host country support or not. The new terror leader better buy a metallic locker with a bed inside

7.I am not sure whether the Tamils struggle for their Eelam can be continued under the LTTE banner anymore. It is possible that there will be a new organisation comprising more number of moderate tamils across the world. Already they are in pieces now.

    8. One goes another one comes, simple as that. Norway will never do anything against the LTTE. Mahinda goes another one comes. What’s the difference.

    9. It is a joke to talk about LTTE. The guys in the so called developed states should not endanger the poor innocent Srilankans

    10. This is the most stupid thing that SL govt could. I mean asking Norway to arrest him and handover.

    11. Sri Lankans will have to live with this fear of regrouping of the LTTE as long as the grievances of the Tamils are not addressed in a sensible way. Saying that there are no minorities is correct since there is only one majority. We Sri Lankans could boast to the world that terrorism was wiped out then why fear anyone being appointed in some distant country.

    12. The nasty Norwegians seem to be hell bent in promotion the LTTE network however and wherever they can. the Erik Solheim/Anita Pratap couple, seem to have a very big stake in the well being of the LTTE. Wonder why ?

    13. who ever emerges in the name of Ltte must be aradicated & this name should not exist in tha face of this earth. May God Bless our mitherland!!!

    14. India trained the LTTE in the eighties in order to chalenge the West. Now the Time has come for the Western countries to train the LTTE to chalenge China. We can reject Visa for Westerners but we can’t do anything about missiles coming and falling in our cities with dirty nuclear warheads. Guys, this is a serious stuff. Let us stop boasting that we are the only intelligent guys and the rest of the world are ruled by dummies. India, China and the West are competing for our land and we have just become puppets. It is Indias and Westerns interest to keep LTTE alive and ticking so that they can all continue to play their games. We desperately need a leadership that would reject all the foreign interventions.

    15. LTTE will have lot of advisers in Norway.Brother ERICK S may be in the front line to advice the new leader who may eventualy end up in SL like KP.

    16. Who is that guy? They won’t allow the fire to extinguish as they won’t be able to sell arms as it is their livelihood! It is sad some people here try to resurrect LTTE threat larger than life for their vested interest, i.e., if they declare that the terrorism is over here, complacency may creep in therefore we should arm to teeth, hell to people’s welfare- prize stabilization etc.,!

    17. No point in hunting people. If a political solution acceptable to all minority communities can be delivered there will be no LTTE.

    18. Oh we will get him also. And the next also. SLDF are the best.

    19. GIVE THE TAMILS A POLITICAL SOLUTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT THE CHANGING OF LTTE LEADERS(MUSICAL CHAIRS ) WILL NOT HAVE ANY BEARING ON THEM

    20. First learn to live in Norway.Top violating the country law & order.Want to fight go to Srilanka.Dont bring us in danger.

    21. We must not be overly anxious about this news. I’m confident GR(Gota) will have a plan. I too have a hunch that foreign players are covertly trying to resuscitate the defunct LTTE. It seems that 30-years of war has not dampen their resolute and unyielding nature – that to me is slightly disturbing! To ask Norway to arrest him is a far-fetched notion. Infact, they will encourage the new leader.

    22. Oh Norway will keep pampering all LTTE terrorists! Sri Lanka should halt all sorts of ties with Norway!

    23. OVER 90 persent of the TAMILS living in NORWAY, holding Norwegian PASSPRORT. They are well educated and contribute to the NORWEIGN SOCITY.
