யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் மீள்குடியேற்ற நடவடிக்கைகளைக் கவனிக்கவென ஒவ்வொரு பிரதேச செயலாளர் பிரிவுக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு அமைச்சர் வீதம் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். அமைச்சர் டக்ளஸ் தேவானந்தா இதற்குத் தலைமை தாங்குவார். யாழ். குடாநாட்டில் மீள்குடியேற்ற நடவடிக்கைகளைத் துரிதப்படுத்துவதற்கென ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஷவின் பணிப்புரைக்கமைய இந்த நியமனங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
இது தொடர்பாக நேற்றுக்காலை கச்சேரியில் மாநாடொன்று நடந்தது. அமைச்சர் டக்ளஸ் தேவானந்தா தலைமையில் நடந்த இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில், கொழும்பிலிருந்து வருகைதந்த எட்டு அமைச்சர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். அமைச்சர்கள் மஹிந்தானந்த அலுத்கமகே, ரோஹித அபேகுணவர்த்தன, பிரதியமைச்சர்கள் வடிவேல் சுரேஷ், ஹஸைன் பைலா, மஹிந்த அமரவீர, பிரேமலால் ஜயசேகர உட்பட ஏராளமான அதிகாரிகள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
ஆளுநர் ஜீ. ஏ. சந்திரசிறியும் இதில் பங்குபற்றினார். மீள்குடியேற்ற நடவடிக்கைகளை கவனிக்க வாரா வாரம் கூடி நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுப்பதற்கு தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதேநேரம் நேற்று யாழ்ப்பாணத்திற்கு விஜயம் செய்த மேற்படி அமைச்சர்கள் அல்லைப்பிட்டி மீள்குடியேற்ற நடவடிக்கைகளைப் பார்வையிட்டனர். அமைச்சர் டக்ளஸ் தேவானந்தா இவர்களை அழைத்துச் சென்றிருந்தார்.

Does this action (if it’s true)by GOSL show how scared the Govt is to loose GSP+. Wouldn’t it have been better to carry out the resettlement programme ASAP, in a decent manner. Beggers (GOSL) should understand that they have no choice. It’s too late anyway to get GSP+, because it’s not only linked to resettlement, but there are other points as well. This is the end result when you don’t have people with brains. What can poor Rohitha do, except waiting to get some cash from others for birthday parties.
people who thinks that the IDP’s are being restled solely due to GSP or any other foreign reason is blind and deaf, the only pressures we would have is from india and this is on track to what was said to the TN politicians of 58,000 people being resettled. good luck GOSL and the people of Sri Lanka hope that the camps will be closed in due time. and congratulations in making a set time table and achieving feats that no other nation has been able to after a war….
